I’m Posting Here Again
Social media is becoming less and less attractive and so I have decided to change the format of my blog and start posting here more regularly. It’s still a work in progress but at this stage I imagine that my posts will incorporate some aspects of what I have been posting on IG, perhaps with some more detailed commentary, maybe some studies attached, but it is unlikely that I will be writing long articles like those previously found on this blog as I no longer feel as though it is the most effective use of my time and effort.
Thanks for the support and please don’t hesitate to make comments. I will endeavor to reply to all.
Sugar is not bad for you and never has been. How do I know? There are lots of different ways to explain this, and I’m not going to cover them all right here, right now. I will say however, that many of the reasons I believe sugar is healthy, have been discussed in previous articles on this blog. One important way to understand sugar is to look at what has been shown to happen in the body when it is removed from the diet.
The substances of stress that rise as a result of lack of available sugar have been shown time and time again to promote the conditions that are popularly blamed on consumption of sugar. Sugar consumption as the cause of health issues, on this other hand, is an idea arising largely out of misrepresentations of the findings of genuine biological research and experimentation, and from the results of poorly performed scientific studies.
These are only some of the many important pieces of information discussed in previous posts, which I believe should not be ignored in the way that they almost always are, by health professionals and those reporting on the subject.
I’m not a doctor and this is not health advice. Just my thoughts based on my personal experience and independent research.
