Fatty Fish Farce

Fish oil is not all that it’s cracked up to be.

Although polyunsaturated fatty acids (pufa) have been shown to be more than problematic when consumed regularly by humans, fish oil is still commonly prescribed as a health supplement.

Blood sugar issues like hyperglycaemia, insulin resistance, or type 2 diabetes, are just some of the problems associated with their consumption.

Sugar is an essential fuel, and fish oil – as well as other PUFAs – will interfere with your body’s ability to effectively use it.

Fish like their fat unsaturated so they can swim in cold waters.

We, on the other hand need fats that don’t oxidize at room temperature and beyond. Nature knew what it was doing.
